Cape Town AccommodationSituated just footsteps from Boulders Beach - home to the African Penguin, our lodge is nestled in a sheltered cove where the mountains meet the sea and exudes an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. For our sun lounging guests Boulders Beach is a short waddle away where you can bask in the sun or swim at your leisure, usually in the company of one of the African Penguins that call this haven home. Rooms 12 en-suite bedrooms - decorated simply with a taste for the natural and unpretentious with comfortable wrought iron beds. Double or twin rooms are on offer. The bathrooms are faultless and little extras have been taken care of to accommodate your needs. Penguin Point Restaurant Our inspired restaurant provides creative and daring dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our central terrace is the social heart of the lodge and the gravitational point of the venue due to the view of the bay. It is a look -out point for passing whales and penguins and encourages one to slow down, switch off and breathe in the air. The view is only one feature however, on rainy days the focus moves indoors to the dining room where a real fire burns heartily and you can concentrate on the dishes that demand your attention. The sculptures that look jealously onto the scrumptious meals is carved from pieces of wood and black wattle bark by local artist Jacques Dhont. |
