The best part about sandboarding is that it is easy to learn and accessible to the absolute beginner – so fear not, adrenaline is just a slide away!

It is also the best way to learn the fundamentals of snowboarding as the basic principles are the same. Our expert boarders will show you just how easy it is. Downhill Adventures has pioneered sandboarding in Africa and uses the latest snowboard technology to ensure safety and ease of learning. We take regular trips up the West Coast to Atlantis (which is approximately 45 minutes out of town) and East Coast to Bettie’s Bay, which is approximately an hour and a half drive out of town.
