We follow the Atlantic coast past Clifton, Camps Bay & Llandudno, to the fishing village at Hout Bay. Here we do a 1/2 hour scenic boat cruise to visit the impressive seal colony. Then it's on over the Constantiaberg Mountains to Soetwater where we begin our optional cycle of 24km to the Cape Point Nature Reserve where we serve a buffet-style picnic lunch. We then continue to Cape Point, where you can choose to dimb the hill to the lighthouse or take the funicular. There is also a 1/2-hour cliff-top hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope, the south-westernmost tip of the African continent. En route back to Cape Town we will visit a colony of rare African penguins at Boulders Beach in False Bay. We then follow the road through the leafy southern suburbs.
