Approximately 30 minutes drive outside of Cape Town, the historic Cape Winelands begin, with their rolling green landscape of sprawling vineyards and historic manor houses. Visit the main towns in the area and stop to taste some of South Africa’s award winning wines.

This is a truly mellow day spent absorbing the rich beauty and history of the greater Cape Winelands - we visit Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek, with a cellar tour in one, and tastings in each region. Enjoy spectacular views during a sumptuous picnic lunch and return to Cape Town via Blouberg Strand for that classic view of Table Mountain across the Bay - by the time you reach the beach you should be feeling pretty rosy!
