Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Cape Town

Table Mountain Lodge is a gracious homestead nestled on the slopes of Signal Hill with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. Originally a farmhouse built in 1885, the Dutch homestead has been restored to it's former elegance with timeless charm. Situated in the popular suburb of Tamboerskloof, opposite a leafy park, guests can stroll to numerous well known and popular restaurants, shops, museums, the city centre and literally 5 minutes by car to Table Mountain Lower Cable Station, the Atlantic beaches and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

All eight guest rooms are classically and individually decorated and all equipped with remote controlled satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, fans for the summer months and heaters for the winter months - and - always a lovely bowl of fresh flowers. Room types are Small Classic x 1, Classic x 5 and Suite x 2. Two of the Classic rooms have private entrances - the one being a studio apartment, both Suites have private entrances - the one being a large apartment.

Included in our tariff is a scrumptious full English or Continental Breakfast. Not included in our rack rate is a tourism levy calculated at 1% of the accommodation charges. A quaint little bar called The Jock's Trap is operated on an honesty basis. The sparkling swimming pool has a terrace area furnished with wrought iron tables, chairs and guest can relax and enjoy the lovely view of Table Mountain. Internet facilities and other office facilities are available.

The Guest House is personally owned and managed by Diana and Janne Dagh - who is Swedish. The two Duty Managers are Hilly Meyer (who is German and Dutch spoken) and Sunette Thackwray. Taking this into consideration, we offer personal attention to meet guest's needs and we are able to provide excellent tourist information.
