Expert guides will fill you in on surfers’ secrets of how to paddle out, read the ocean, catch a wave and how to control your body to stand up. You’ll get started on a mini-mal type board. Lessons are structured to take the absolute beginner from surfing zero to wave riding hero. Clients get a lifetime of accumulated surfing tips, technical info and practical surf wizardry to get the most out of the day.  Once you are up and running you will be shown how to progress and start really feeling the stoke!
You will usually get taken to Big Bay near Table View, which offers a great range of waves in the safest waters in the Cape. The view across the bay to Table Mountain and Robben Island make this one of the most spectular and scenic surf spots in the world.  If the waves and weather are more suitable on the False Bay side, you will be taken to Muizenberg, which offers great waves for learning to surf.

The lesson includes a theory on waves and the board and plenty of hands on help throughout the entire day by the end of which, you will be riding a couple of waves.

Trained surf instructors with a passion for sharing their sport will share their secrets and skills with you. The beginner is given the opportunity to learn this activity in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

Full and half day courses, as well as multi-day courses are available at the best breaks the cape peninsular has to offer.
