Day 1: Arrival Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town Airport in the morning you will be met by a representative of Jenman Safaris and transferred to your accommodation.  This afternoon we embark on a guided tour of the Mother City and see highlights such as the SA Museum, The Castle of Good Hope, the Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square and Bo-Kaap.  If the weather permits we take the cable car (own account) up Table Mountain to admire the view over the City and Table Bay.

Day 2: The Cape Peninsula
After breakfast you will be collected and we depart on a full day tour around the Cape Peninsula.  We travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. On through Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.  After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included), we go on to historic Simon’s Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The tour ends at ± 17:30 after a visit to the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. [B]

Day 3: Cape Town
Today is yours to spend at your leisure.  We suggest a shopping spree at the V&A Waterfront.  You could also take the ferry to historic Robben Island or just relax at the pool at the hotel. [B]

Day 4: Cape Town to Stellenbosch
After a leisurely breakfast you will be collected and taken to Stellenbosh in the heart of the Cape Winelands.  You have the remainder of the day to explore this quaint little town on foot or by bicycle (own account). [B]

Day 5: The Cape Winelands
Today we explore the Cape Winelands on a guided day tour.  We take part in a cellar tour and enjoy wine tasting sessions at selected wine estates.  Lunch will be enjoyed on a wine estate in the form of a picnic (own account).  You will be taken back to your accommodation at around 17h00. [B]

Day 6: Stellenbosch to Hermanus
Transfer from Stellenbosch to Hermanus, which is also known as South Africa’s whale haven.  Between July and October land-based whale watching is at it’s best in Hermanus.  Besides whales, there are also a lot of arts & crafts shops, wine farms and fynbos reserves in the area. [B]

Day 7: Departure
Depending on the time of your departure, you will be taken to the airport in Cape Town for your onward journey. [B]
