DAY 1: Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town you will be transferred to your hotel in the city centre . This afternoon your guide will meet you and we take the cable car up Cape Town’s landmark, Table Mountain (at own expense and weather permitting). After we’ve enjoyed the breathtaking views, we take off on a city tour of Cape Town, where we see the Company Gardens, the SA Museum, Greenmarket Square, as well as Bo-Kaap. This evening you have the opportunity to explore the V&A Waterfront with its wide variety of shops and endless optional activities on offer (own expense).
DAY 2: Cape Town. Early this morning you meet your guide at the Lady Hamilton Hotel. We will then spend the day exploring the Cape Peninsula, visiting Hout Bay on the Atlantic coast before heading off to Cape Point for lunch. In the afternoon we head back via the Penguin colony on the Indian Ocean. We then end off the day having sundowners overlooking Cape Town. [B]

DAY 3: Cape Town to Cedarberg. The journey today takes us to the beach on the Atlantic Ocean to have a last look at Table Mountain across the bay. Then we head off to the area that is known as the “Swartland” for a wine tasting. After lunch we head for the Cedarberg Mountains, bypassing Clanwilliam. [BLD]

DAY 4: Cedarberg. We spend the day on a hike on the Sevilla Rock Art Trail. This trail winds along the Brandewyn river and visits nine sites of rock art paintings left behind by the San people, who inhabited the area for thousands of years.
The Sevilla trail offers some of the finest examples of rock art in the district and a fascinating glimpse into the world of these early inhabitants.
The trail is relatively easy walking, the atmosphere is inspiring and in spring the wild flowers are and added bonus. Small game, dassies and baboons may be encountered on the walk and a fascinating array of indigenous plant species and birds can be observed. This afternoon we visit the quaint town of Wupperthal and also have the opportunity to drive up to one of the waterfalls. [BLD]

DAY 5: Cedarberg to the West Coast. After breakfast, we head in a south-westerly direction to the Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve, where we go on an afternoon game drive in search of some of the animals that this area is the home to like buffalo, Elands, Springbok, Lion, Giraffe, etc.. Have your camera ready! Afterwards we make our way to the West Coast National Park, where we spend the night. The West Coast National Park has so much on offer: whether you are interested in archaeology, flora and fauna, bird watching, fossils, history of the area or just wonderful sites and views. West Coast National Park’s secret is a secluded stunning beach where in summer you can enjoy a bit of South Africa’s sunshine and swim in the lagoon. [BLD]
DAY 6: West Coast National Park and Cape Town. This morning we go back to Buffelsfontein for a morning game drive. Afterwards we have some time to explore more of the West Coast National Park. We have lunch at Geelbeck Restaurant (own expense). After lunch and a relaxing walk on the beach or a splash in the Atlantic, we head back to Cape Town. [B]
